Petřín Funicular

At the end of 2021, we started working on the first phase of a funicular competition. This project started from scratch and went through a complete process of research, planning, design, modelling, visualisation and presentation.

We aimed for a design that would stand the test of time and feel modern, while maintaining a connection to the existing funicular. The use of glass was limited due to weight and practicality.

Compared to the existing car, we achieved increased space, a better view and generally improved passenger comfort.
