Tree of Light

This project tells a story about a world where real trees are only known from stories. In a digital reality, they are reproduced as artificial bodies, made of glass, steel and light.
It was a collaboration with the world's largest manufacturer of Christmas lights.

The Tree of Light is a spatial concept that comes with a toolbox. Each characteristic of the tree can be set independently to create individual scenarios. Using the means of generative design, it is possible to visualise a model that corresponds to the given conditions in a matter of seconds.
